Mr. Schmitt grew up just east of here in Holcomb, KS. After high school he attended Garden City Community College, Wichita State University, and graduated from Fort Hays State University. He now is the grade school P.E. teacher here at Deerfield. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and basketball, and coaching basketball.
