Personal Information:

Philosophy of Education:  ”No quitting on kids!” I believe each and every child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world.  I believe that every child can learn. Learning might involve some struggle, patience, differentiation, and lots of practice, but every child is capable. I believe that as a unique individual, each child needs a secure, caring, and stimulating environment in which to grow and blossom emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. I also believe that learning should be developmentally appropriate, relevant, engaging, and fun!

I am a highly qualified educator with over 15 years of classroom experience, and a proven track record of student achievement/success. I am confident in my leadership abilities and passionate about helping other teachers feel empowered, informed, and equipped to work with ALL students – as well as helping each and every student we serve, achieve his/her own level of success, in school and in life.  I am innovative and strive to research and implement the best tools and strategies to achieve those goals. Personalized learning through relationship building, multi-modality/multi-sensory instruction, positive behavioral interventions & supports, team-building & collaboration, and developmentally appropriate practice, are the hallmarks of my strengths-based approach.
