On Saturday, the Lady Spartans played Pawnee Heights. The Spartans lost to the Tigers, with the final score being 8-40. Below are some words from Coach Eslinger.
We were not very good tonight against Pawnee Heights. We were unable to keep them out of the paint with our defense. Offensively we turned the ball over way too much and shot less than 10% from the field. We are not going to win a lot of games with that combination. One thing we talked about after the game was offensive. We have to have girls step up and be able to get the ball in the basket when things are not going our way. We have a few games left in the regular season to get things clicking for the playoffs, and we are excited about that opportunity.
