We enjoy the opportunity to play against Lakin since we are the only two schools in Kearny County. It also allows us to play against a bigger school with really good teams, and as competitors, you always want to compete against good teams as that gives you the opportunity to get better and see where you are. Coach Holloway and his staff do a great job, and they have their girls ready to go. They came out and were the more physical team that executed their game plan. We did not match their physicality and did not take care of the ball or keep them out of the paint, which was our game plan going in. We know what we have to do to get better and compete with good teams. We now turn the page and head into the playoffs, where everyone is 0-0, and you win, or you go home. I believe our girls will respond to that and will put on an excellent performance Thursday night in Ingalls.
