trip
Deerfield Middle School took a trip to Wichita on Thursday, April 14. They started their day at the Museum of World Treasures. They got to explore artifacts from ancient civilizations and hold US history artifacts 100-225 years old! After lunch, they got to have some hands-on science fun at Exploration Place. They got to play in a castle, explore Kansas in miniature, practice some hands-on survival skills, and try their hand at aviation. After a quick dinner at CiCi’s pizza, they headed home! A huge thank you to BOE member Marilyn Danler for supporting this opportunity for our kids and the staff that spent an extra-long day with our outstanding middle school students. It was a great day to be a Spartan. Please go to www.usd216.org and download the USD 216 App for all the latest information.
