Deerfield High School Track competed in two meets again this past week. Head Coach Jana Miller shared her thoughts. “I am super proud of our kids from this week. We attended Garden City's track meet on Tuesday with larger schools in attendance. We had tough competition, but our athletes kept fighting. Shayla Clark placed 4th in triple jump with a jump of 32-1 and 6th in long jump with a jump of 15-2.5. Irvin Rodriguez placed 3rd in shot put in the junior varsity division with a throw of 35-1. Everyone else performed well and we had lots of PR's.
