Deerfield High School Track competed in the SFTL Track meet at GCCC and is preparing for Regional Track in Spearville. Head Coach Jana Miller shared her thoughts. “The Spartans did well at the SFTL track meet in GCCC. The HS girls team took first place with a total of 192 points. The HS boys took 2nd with a total of 107 points. I am proud of how hard all the athletes worked and improved throughout the season. Next track meet will be Thursday, May 19th at Spearville for Regionals. There will be four athletes competing at this meet. The four athletes are Sophomore Shayla Clark (long and triple jump), Sophomore Shaylie Hill (high and triple jump), Freshman Brenda Harper (high jump), and Freshman Tannon York (100 and 200 Meter Dash).
