USD 216 Deerfield will be closed tomorrow, January 28th, due to a large number of student and staff illnesses. This closure is necessary to prioritize the safety and well-being of our students and staff, allow time for recovery, and provide extra sanitation measures to help reduce the spread of illness. Please continue to wash hands regularly, cover coughs and sneezes, stay home if sick, and disinfect frequently touched surfaces. Please see the attached letter from Superintendent Steinmetz for additional details. We have a home high school game on Monday evening followed the SFTL tournament on Tuesday and Thursday in Rolla for both our HS and MS basketball teams.
