Today HS STUCO, FFA, and NHS traveled to Sublette to attend the kick off to a series of showcases put on by the Western Kansas Careers Showcases group. These showcases highlight industries in SWKS in many pathways offered here at USD216. Opportunities like these provide our students with time to network with industries leaders to learn what is available to them right in their own backyard!

Super proud of the Deerfield MS/HS XC teams today. We have 4 MS girls in the top 10. We had 4 MS boys in the top 10 with Daniel getting 3rd and Jeremiah getting 2nd place medals. We had 2 HS boys in the top 10 with Vayro getting a 9th place medal and Colton a 7th place medal.
Thanks to the amazing support crew of families who help run water, donate snacks and do whatever else is needed!!

They had to summarize three cases and create a flyer in Canva showcases their information. This is an important topic for students to understand going into their future employment for many industries.
